Surat, (Gujarat) [India] 20th Aug. 2026: We Do Not Even Exist!, the newly published book by Nihar Saraswala, is now available on Amazon, Flipkart, Google Books and Google Play Store.

Written primarily for children, the book goes beyond conventional storytelling to explore everyday choices, human behaviour, relationships, empathy, responsibility, consequences and the way children perceive the world around them. Through engaging and thought-provoking situations, it encourages young readers to pause, observe and think for themselves.

The book gains a distinctive dimension from the life and experiences of its author.

Nihar Saraswala is a recipient of more than 59 awards and a two-time Unique World Record holder, recognised for his extensive work across social awareness, environmental initiatives, empowerment and public engagement. One of his World Records was created by generating environmental awareness among more than 51,000 children across 38 locations in just four hours, making it the world’s largest Go Green campaign involving children under 16.

His second World Record came through his unique Green Parikrama initiative in 2019, through which he travelled to five countries – Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia – for just $988, all-inclusive, to spread the message of environmental responsibility. The initiative involved the participation and support of top authorities from these five countries and was recognised as a Unique World Record for undertaking such an international environmental awareness journey at the stated cost.

These, however, represent only a few highlights of Saraswala’s extensive social work. His initiatives have covered environmental awareness, women empowerment, public health and civic awareness. Among several notable initiatives, he conducted empowerment-focused training for 450 policewomen during the Government of Gujarat’s Women Empowerment Fortnight and conceptualised and successfully executed a free comprehensive health-check initiative benefiting 4,500 South Gujarat Police personnel.

His contributions have earned him numerous recognitions, including the Honour–2018 Award presented by Bollywood actor Sohail Khan for excellence in branding and marketing, the Jewel of the Nation Award 2017, the Most Eminent Personalities of Surat 2016 recognition, and the prestigious “Gujarat Nu Gaurav” appreciation from the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Late Vijay Rupani for creating mass awareness about the importance of voting and democratic values. He was also featured in Narendra Modi – CM to PM for his significant contribution to social media campaigning during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

It is this unusual combination of professional experience, social engagement and years of observing people and society that finds expression in We Do Not Even Exist!

The book reflects Saraswala’s way of looking at people, situations and the world around us. Its stories encourage children to look beyond the obvious, understand different perspectives and recognise how seemingly small choices can influence people and situations.

At the same time, the book offers adults an opportunity to see familiar situations through a child’s perspective. Parents and educators may find themselves reflecting not only on what children are taught, but also on what children observe, absorb and learn from the world around them.

We Do Not Even Exist! is therefore not confined to a particular age group. It is a book for children to discover, for adults to reflect upon, and for both generations to discuss together.

With thoughts shaped by years of experience, social engagement and interaction with people from different walks of life, Nihar Saraswala brings to the book more than stories – he brings a perspective. And that makes We Do Not Even Exist! a thought-provoking read for the young and the young at heart.
