Kuala Lumpur, August 17, 2026: W Kuala Lumpur continues its eighth anniversary celebrations with EPIC 8, a month-long celebration of bold flavours, vibrant nightlife, immersive experiences and the unmistakable energy of the W brand. With the celebrations now building towards the final weekend, guests can look forward to a dynamic line-up of music, cocktails, poolside experiences and rooftop revelry across W Kuala Lumpur.
At the heart of EPIC 8 is WET Deck, the hotel’s iconic rooftop destination, which continues to take centre stage as the city’s ultimate playground. From energetic DJ takeovers and poolside sessions to curated cocktails and panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur, the celebration brings together a series of experiences designed to capture the bold and unconventional spirit of W.
The next highlight is SSWIM CLUB, presented by WET Deck and Saturday Selects on 22 August. Featuring Eli Cicada, Z Raiff, Irama, Damien, Roshan and Bugzb, the experience brings together infectious grooves, poolside energy and a skyline setting. Running from 4PM onwards, the afternoon is designed to flow effortlessly from golden hour into the evening, with entry priced at MYR60 inclusive of one drink.
The celebrations reach their peak during the final weekend of EPIC 8, beginning with WETDECK REPUBLIK on 29 August. Featuring CLUB PARADISO, the Miami-inspired takeover brings together Toni Varga, Leonard Sinclair, Kimm, Hulkas, Odd and Meliha for an afternoon and evening of tropical energy, high-octane beats and rooftop revelry.
Starting at 4PM, tickets are available via Ticketmelon, with limited early bird tickets at RM80, normal tickets at RM120 and door tickets at RM150, with the first drink included. Table and cabana packages will also be available for guests looking to elevate their experience.
The celebration continues on 30 August with SOULSET, bringing together smooth R&B, feel-good rhythms and Saturday Selects energy. Featuring Soundsoffai & Zax, Cza, Juju, Irama and Roshan, SOULSET will run from 3PM to 9PM, setting the tone for the final night of EPIC 8.
The anniversary weekend culminates with INDEPEN+DANCE, a high-energy rooftop celebration beginning at 9PM and running late into the night. DJ Alam, Axel Groove, Azran, Shazan and Victor G will take over the decks, inviting guests to dance beneath the iconic Petronas Twin Towers while enjoying front-row views of Kuala Lumpur’s spectacular fireworks.
