Walplast Products Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading building materials companies, recorded strong year-on-year growth across several categories of its HomeSure portfolio during the April–June 2026 quarter (Q1 FY2026–27), reflecting the growing demand for specialised and application-focused construction solutions.

HomeSure GypEx Walbond led the portfolio with 157% growth, followed by HomeSure GypEx Gypsum Plaster at 97% and HomeSure TileEx Tile Adhesive at 75%. Textures grew by 55%, while Wall Putty and Tile Cleaner registered 40% growth each. Tile Grout recorded 25% growth during the quarter.

The performance was spread across multiple categories, reinforcing Walplast’s strategy of expanding beyond its established strengths and building a comprehensive construction and finishing solutions portfolio.

“The growth recorded across our key HomeSure categories reflects the strength of our diversified product portfolio and the trust customers place in our solutions. Within each category, we offer a comprehensive range designed to cater to diverse application requirements. Our specialised products such as Walbond, Gypsum Plaster, Tile Adhesives and more continue to witness strong demand as builders, contractors and homeowners increasingly seek reliable, quality-driven and application-specific solutions,” said Kaushal Mehta, Managing Director, Walplast Products Pvt. Ltd.

The HomeSure portfolio spans wall putty, gypsum plaster and boards, tile adhesives and grouts, waterproofing solutions, construction chemicals, textures, decorative paints and admixtures. Together, these categories address multiple stages of construction, including plastering, surface preparation, tile installation, waterproofing, protection and finishing.

India’s diverse climatic conditions, construction practices, substrates and project specifications create distinct building material requirements across regions. Surfaces such as concrete, masonry, AAC blocks, gypsum boards, tiles and natural stone require products suited to their specific application and performance needs. By offering multiple solutions within each category, Walplast aims to help professionals select products appropriate for different surfaces and project conditions.

Customers and construction professionals are also increasingly looking for trusted brands that can address multiple project requirements while delivering consistent quality and reliable performance. HomeSure by Walplast brings together a wide range of construction and finishing solutions under one brand, creating a convenient “one brand, multiple solutions” proposition for homeowners, contractors, applicators, architects and builders.

The company’s portfolio expansion is supported by investments in manufacturing, research and product development. Walplast currently operates 25 manufacturing facilities and has NABL-accredited R&D laboratories, enabling it to develop and scale solutions across multiple product categories.

Its distribution network comprises more than 800 distributors, 6,000 dealers and 65,000 construction professionals and influencers. This network supports product availability, awareness and adoption across different levels of the construction ecosystem.

Market expansion remains another important pillar of Walplast’s growth strategy. The company continues to strengthen its presence in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh while gradually expanding into newer domestic markets.

“We have consistently expanded our product offerings, strengthened our manufacturing footprint and enhanced our distribution reach to cater to evolving market needs. Growth across multiple categories validates our strategy of building a comprehensive building materials portfolio. We will continue investing in innovation, capacity expansion and channel partnerships to accelerate growth and serve our customers more effectively,” Mehta added.

Walplast’s ambitions also extend beyond India. With exports to more than 23 countries, the company is leveraging its manufacturing and product-development capabilities to serve both domestic and international markets.

Founded in 2004, Walplast is the third-largest manufacturer of wall putty in India. Its growth across gypsum products, tile adhesives, textures, wall putty and related categories reflects its continuing evolution into an integrated building materials company.

As India’s construction ecosystem expands, Walplast aims to combine product innovation, manufacturing scale, distribution strength and market reach to create a trusted ecosystem of building and finishing solutions for diverse project requirements.
